Bought a Ford S-Max Titanium through Dealdrivers on 18th September. I used there web instant messaging to confirm stock levels/lead times.

A vehicle had become available at short notice and I took the plunge because I didn't have a vehicle to trade. My local Ford dealer couldn't get close to the price and didn't have stock. About £2k price difference.

Paid £500 deposit by credit card.

Took Ford Finance deal at 4.9% +£800 deposit allowance which meant I had to collect the vehicle which was a pain but also gave me ample opportunity to drive the car back home without the kids! It was a main dealer.

I collected the new vehicle on the 27th September 2009 and vehicle registration papers have now come through.

Although Dealdrivers weren't the cheapest they were competitive, emailed me directly when the vehicle became available and passed by details on quickly.

I would strongly recommend them for those who don't need to trade and are looking for a competitive deal when local dealers don't offer flexibility on the price.
