Purchased a large 'Big Air' trampoline from UK Sports Imports Sep 08. It came with protective mat to cover springs and a safety netting. Price comparable to others. Initial delivery on time but missing safety nets, had to be quite forceful to insist on an express delivery for nets - but weren't there for the birthday present.

Matting covering springs split on the first day but lived with that.
This spring/summer, the straps holding the safety net up have started to break. The trampoline has a 5 year guarantee, but the extras are all one year. The extras are not of the same quality, the straps are elasticated but have lost their elasticity and now just fray and snap. Although polite and professional, UK Sport Imports just refer to them being out of warranty (my fault, I should have chased when they first started going but was only reminded that the year was up as the birthday came round again).

I believe the material for the straps to be inadequate and therefore not having a 'reasonable lifetime' - see Sale of Goods Act, the trampoline has been looked after and not over or mis-used. Now potentially a 'small claim' issue.

Very disappointed with after sales service.
