I have also used the Job Centre numerous times over the last few years, each time I have been more than disappointed.
I think on the whole they need to retrain, or in most cases actually train there staff as I am regularly told different things to do which not only causes confusion but also stress, lack of sleep etc.
The website is a poor effort from the government to help the public find a job. I use job website everyday as I am currently looking for jobs but I now refuse to use the job cebtre website at all for a number of reasons.
- You type in that you are looking for jobs ONLY within 10 miles of XXX - it brings up jobs that are not only in the wrong category but sometimes abroad!! If not the majority are not in the location requested.
-If there is a job I am interested in, I have to call them on an 0845 number which I am not prepared to do from my mobile!! (I dont have a house phone)
All in all I hate speaking to them or having any contact with them whatso ever. I hope after being made redundant for a second time in 18 months that I NEVER have to use them again!!!
