We purchased this machine having been recomended it by a Zanussi engineer who had called round to repaire our old machine which had gone wrong countless times. The engineer stated that the repaires would cost £179.00 and a cheap throw away machine would cost £212.00. So we purchased the ZDF131. What a mistake. this machine has never ever cleaned the dishes to my satisfaction . On every wash it leaves baked on dirt on everything including each glass and mug. It is embarassing when guests come round and almost every item they eat or drink from is dirty in one form or another. The tablet door often refuses to open and on occasion the tablet can be found almost complete at the bottom of the machine at the end of the cycle. I have spoken to engineers and experts who have asked me to make sure the waste pipe is not obstructed etc . The machine is always clean and filled with the correct levels of salt and rinse aid. We have now purchased a Bosch dishwasher which is soon to arrive. Thw ZDF131 looks almost new but I would not dream of selling it on ebay etc as I do not want to get shot by a disgruntled buyer who would soon be at his wits end as we are.
