Flying Sydney to LA was faultless. Great plane, plenty of room, friendly service. Entertainment system was amazing, great choices and easy to use. Return leg was delayed at LAX by about 1.5 hrs. There was no communication from staff as to the reason. We were then delayed by 40 mins on ground at Mascot - however, the captain and first officer kept us all informed every 15mns or so. Note that the flight departs from Terminal 3 at LAX - a domestic terminal, so no duty-free after you pass security screening. Make sure you go to Tom Bradley International Terminal before you check in and arrange to have purchases delivered to Terminal 3. I didn't know about this and it was not mentioned when I checked in, so I was little disappointed. This, however, is my only complaint and for the price of the ticket, it was a very minor issue. I love this airline, and will sing its praises to anyone who asks.
