Hastings Direct, after telling hastings direct I didn't want to renew my policy i was shocked to find they had taken £349.19 out of my bank account! When i called to get my money back they told me i had to send then proof that i had been insurance with another company (although its got nothing to do with them!) and i would take 5 working days to get my money back! only after a few calls and threatening legal action did they become marginally helpful and offered to call my current insurer for proof! They are quick enough to take your money so why does it take 5 working days to get it back?!!
