By choice I would not give Sixt even one star. The car broke down after 15 minutes on the autoroute. On telephoning their rescue I was told that they could not help as we were on the French motorway system!??! Telephoned autoroute rescue (lucky I could speak French) and was taken to a car graveyard at 2am. Sixt said they could do nothing until the morning. Fortunately a friend collected me and the next day was advised that as I was within 100kms from collection point I would have to catch a train to collect a replacement. How was I supposed to get to a station? I could get a taxi obviously and all at my own expense.

On returning i have followed the complaints procedure, but basically they don't want to know.
