I wrote about my experience where i booked for a date and when i got to the hotel they claimed i booked for a date that had passed a few days earlier, conveniently...

thus meaning i had to pay up to £201 out of a strangers kind pocket to find alternative meals and accommodation.



I have had several replies back basically stating that despite the small mounting of complaints regarding their poorly coded and maintained website that they were not able to replicate the issues and provide me with my refund!!!!

Also very convenient...

I have consulted my lawyer who sent them an email stating that they have to prove that the website could not have possibly caused the issues as upon validating the website code (I know, we're getting technical, wonder if they will understand??)

The website was not fit to work correctly on ALL browsers and since their website is not browser specific they are liable for the reimbursement up to twice the price of the room that i had booked (Quoted from their own policies)

I have yet to have a reply from this however i would warn people NOT to use travelodge and NOT to use their website as it does not work according to the strict coding web standards it is supposed to be constructed under.

Beware of their prized 'Quality Management team'......
