I am very surprised by the negative reports of the Redfern Eurosteam iron. I absolutely love it!!

My husband has "shined" more shirts and microfiber shorts than I care to count!!! No more with this iron!! You can't burn or shine anything! Fabulous!

A couple of suggestions: 1) Don't over fill. Period. 2)After you have finished ironing - turn the dial wide open and let the steam empty the tank. Then, you can refill and have it ready for next time. 3) I sometimes empty the tank (after it is cool) and drain the water out. I shake the iron to get out any sediments that have accumulated. 4) Descale this iron ever 2-3 months. Servicing your iron will extend it's life!!

I'd buy this iron again..........without hesitation.
