The site was down for the whole first and only day of ticket sales. Some people (180000 people in fact) managed to book a ticket, but the rest of us were essential faced with denial of service. It is apalling that for sure a large event the organisers do not use a more robust ticket retailer, but I guess, what do they care, they sold all their tickets. I dilligently went through the hoops of registration, giving them all my personal details and mugshot. I tried 3 times throughout the day, was I supposed to spend the whole day in front of my pc hitting refresh? In my opinion this shows utter contempt for festival patrons both on the part of seetickets.com and on behalf of Glasto organisers. Oranisers should not skimp and use such a weak service and seetickets.com should recognise that they are not fit for purpose and refuse to distribute Glasto tickets.
