I purchased the Redfern iron at a home show. It worked fine for the first few months then afterwards it didn't seem to work at all. I called customer service, the service was poor and they seemed clueless. There are no repair shops in Toronto for the Redfern iron according to customer service. I was told I had to send the iron to them in Calgary and $45 dollars for repairs. Living in Toronto, I would have to pay for the shipping charges, $45 dollars for the repair and have no iron for 2 weeks. Who can go without an iron for 2 weeks??? Overall, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS IRON TO ANYONE. It is a waste of money. You are better off going to your local department store and buying an iron. They recently broadcasted on the shopping network channel for all you buyers return your iron or you will be very disappointed.
