I have just returned from whinfell forrest and i would say this has been the best british holiday i have been on .
i went with my husband and my two boys who are 2 and 6months , we stayed in one of the old style comfort lodge and i found this very clean and comfortable . before i went i read a few reviews saying that these lodges where grubby etc. this is NOT true , the lodge wasnt even basic there was everything we needed. the kitchen was very nice and modern the bedrooms were lovley there was also a living room and dining area very luxurious considering it was 3 or 4 times bigger than a caravan .
The rest of the park was kept very nice and not a peice of rubbish in sight. the swimming pool was fantastic and also free with little added extras like towel hire , float jackets provided for children (FREE OF CHARGE) free hairdryers and also ghd hair straightners . the changing facilities were the cleanest ive ever seen with a floor cleaning machine going round all day also well equipt for families with young children.
Iwould say centre parcs caters for all ages there is something for everyone and also this does not need to be an expensive holiday as swimming playparks etc are free.
With young children i found centre parcs very stress free and the cleanliness was top notch and very child friendly the whole park from pubs swimming parks resteraunts lodges is all about the childres
Loved every minute of my holiday
