We were allocated a 'partner' car hire company - Easy@car Pisa airport. The car was dirty and in poor state - half a door handle missing. Soiled seats. Scratched all over. It had been cleaned however. The car broke down, I had to call the emergency number who at first said that they couldn't come out for that car. Then confirmed with hire company and did come out. That was Europ Assistance who were brilliant. Got car going. Got back to hotel, car battery dead. I was then picked up by low loader. I was dumped at a garage and had to BUY a battery. It has taken 10 weeks to get my money back. Whilst at the garage I was told that the front tyres were illegal. Lost a day's holiday. Load of stress. I'll go direct to a larger rental company next time.
