The accident damage scam happened to us also.
Hired a one way rental, was shown round car with particular emphysis on the scrape the full length of the car.
When we returned the car the person checking it in discovered a minor dent to the bodywork high up which could ony be seen when the sun shone accross it.
We were told we would have to pay for its repair from the £100 deposit even though we had not done the damage, car driven straight home then into the garage.
Said we were not happy with this but they insisted thats how it would be.
It took a fortnight to sort this out and only after E-Mailing a complaint to the Area Manager did we finally manage to get our deposit back.
Also they DO NOT have a pick up service at airports, it doesnt say that in their adverts.
