My hubby whilst learning to drive had an accident in April 09. Quinn-Direct Car Insurance still (now October) have not settled the claim. After complaining to head office, it took 4 weeks and 15 phone calls we got a letter (had to get it faxed as it still hasnt arrived in post), to say that they are currently not in position to settle the claim due to statements they have to check. Its taken them 7 months, in the meantime the car in still lying in a garage, fully comp insurance was paid for in full which no refund has be made.
