Ordered a child car seat from Halfords online 6 weeks before baby's due date. Despite being marked as available on the website, after payment I promptly received an email notifying me that the item was out of stock and would be delivered within three weeks. I thought ok, that should still be alright. Exactly three weeks later I received another email telling me that there is still no stock and my order has been cancelled. Four days later the baby arrived and had no car seat. Had to borrow one from a friend. Have since ordered the exact same product elsewhere which arrived within three working days.
