I wish I had never set up a Halifax Bank Current Account with the Halifax! My funds are transferred into an account with them to pay all my bills and today I have found that yet again, although my other account has transferred the funds the Halifax don't have them. Eight direct debits have come out today which will leave me with charges amounting to £280, oh, and there's the £28 overdraft charge to go onto that as well! So over £300 charges. How on earth can anyone get themselves out of trouble if those charges go on every time? I'm transfrring all my direct debits back this month and closing my account as soon as I've managed to pay the charges. If I can get them back I certainly will do.
