Please make sure that you have realistic expectations when it comes to seeking refinancing terms and you are comparing apples to apples. I have used Absolute mortgage for weekly interet rate comps with other guys out there and I refinanced my house with them, 3rd time after working with other companies on previous 2 refis. Absolute is the best out of all of them, you have no surprises in terms of extra cost (in addition to having the lowest processing fee that I have seen to date), the numbers on HUD 1 appear the way you have negotiated with them. The appraisal and the credit report fee were not out of synch with the other guys. Their rate is solid and I have not been able to find a lower rate with the same low processing fees. Make sure you do your part in terms of getting your income and other information ready for the underwriters.

In conclusion:
As a frequent user of Aboslute mortgage interest rate information (I and my reputable finance professional friends have had multiple transactions with them) I wanted to compliment the company on their decision to continue with publishing their interest rates. I am about to initiate another refinance transaction on my property with them. Their interest rates are the lowest in the market and you will always have the competitive advantage. Their rates are trustworthy and one can always be sure that this is not a bait and switch offer. Just take their rate and total fees and make other guys match it and you will no if you are getting a good deal. But you need to trust that the other guys are telling the truth and will honor their offer the way Absolute does.

I assume they might have had some bumps inteh middle of the overall disruptions in the mortgage lending sector. Nobody stops you from prusuing other options though if they work better for you.
