We are from the North of England so due to the long drive we have tended to go to Alton Towers. This time we decided to brave the long journey and try Thorpe Park and it was definitely worth it.
Thopre park is jam packed with top quality rides. It is smaller than Alton Towers but it has much more rides; so less walking between rides. The two rides that stood out for us were Stealth; which will take your breath away and Saw; which will scare the crap out of you!
There is plenty of places to eat to suit all tastes and there appears to be plenty to do for young children although there was none in our party.
It is easy to find and definitely worth a long journey as we went at the end of September we didn't really queue for anything so we were able to go on everything as much as we pretty much wanted.
We would definitely recommend queuing to go on front of the rides especially Stealth.
No real bad points and all the staff are friendly.
As a nice bonus when we went Katie Price, Duncan James and Amir Khan were there filming so we got to meet them and get a picture with them. Duncan James is a really nice guy.
If you are planning on going and driving we would recommend staying over as it is a tiring day which I think is due to all of the Adrenaline.
