I have had Dyson DC07 for two years and it has done good on the floors, carpets. Cleans well, waste container is big enough and it tatty look seems OK. I enjoyed as a gadget however when it comes to cleaning in tight places it is not that good and you have to detatch tube and use it as classic vacum cleaner. Quick summary as for Dyson would be: It reminds me Apple computers, looks good, there is lots of good publicity around but wheather it does good job it it rather bit controversial.
