Bookable Holidays is a disreputable and untrustworthy company, and I strongly recommend that you don't book with them. My boyfriend and I had a disastrous holiday to Crete booked with them in August 2009, during which our hotel was downgraded and we spent two nights in an inferior resort. Bookable also took more money than the agreed price from my bank account when I paid over the phone.
Since returning from the holiday I have phoned Bookable repeatedly, sent messages via their 'Express' desk online messaging services, sent letters to the company and emailed Bookable personnel including the managing director. I have not had a single response to any of this contact, nor has the money they removed from my account without my permission been repaid. It has been frustrating and upsetting, especially when I've been stuck in a phone queue for 20 minutes with no response. In despair I finally contacted 'Thomas' who posted on this site claiming to work for Bookable - surprise surprise no response.
The holidays look cheap, but I wish I hadn't booked with them - a really miserable and awful experience. And taking money from customers' accounts without their permission is illegal.
