im due to go away this weekend after booking a twin centre holiday to asia with travel republic. i asked at the time of booking to have airport to hotel transfers included, and when the costing was done the lady who did the booking for me said thats it evrything all included in the cost, i booked it there and then, i was told id recive ticktes ect two weeks prior to my holiday, well guess what nothing arrived, all i got was e-mails from this booking lady confirming flights, and sent vouchers for the hotels in question, i rang travel republic two weeks ago to ask where the flight tickets were and transfers confirmation, i was told theyd be sent out withing the week as they were due now, and if id not got them within a week to ring back, well guess what they didnt arrive, so i rang them again, this time i was told they would be sent by email to my e mail addy, well so far nothings arrived, so i got intouch with one of the airlines direct to ask how i was fixed, the flights have been booked on that flight, but the airline asked me a few questions on what the info said on the email, when i relayed back to her what it said , she told me they had only sent me confirmation at travel republic, she said i'll send you the e ticket to your email address now whilst your on the phone to me and you can check youve got the right thing, because i wouldnt have been allowed on board had i produced just the itinary that travel republic sent me, ive emailed them over the last two days asking where the transfer tickest are, and no one has answered me as yet. i will never use this company again, and i wish i had seen this forum before i booked with them. ive never had vouchers before to produce at hotels, so watch this space.... i will inform you if i have any more hassle.

    Dear Guest, I am not sure what has happened here. If you booked a scheduled flight with us you would have ben able to travel with your confirmation email. We issue e-tkts as an IATA agency and put the e-tkt numbers on your email receipt.

    I am not sure about a two-centre holiday in Asia, but we may have booked two hotels for you. Transfers would not have been included unless they were specifically booked. Again, if you have an email receipt confirming this, it would have all the required information to allow you to take your transfer.

    I am sure the accommodation vouchers will be fine, but shoudl you wish to ask any further qustions, please do not hesitate to email me directly.
