Changed cars and rang the AA insurance to organize a cover note. It took ages and loas of options to get through. I was informed I wopuld get one first class post. It took 7 days to receive and it was for the wrong car! I rang and was informed another would be sent first class. Further question evealled thios woulsd be five days. I pointed out it would be quicker to pick the note up in person. I was left with the prospect of a new car possibly uninsured with no tax on the road for a week.I changed companys to Swinton. They were cheaper, politer, better service, and I got a cover note within 18 hours. I then received a bill for £12 admin charge from the AA, which is in dispute. With one exception I found the staff rude and arrogant with a nack of trying to talk over and at you. Very Very poor. Guarrateed to raise the blood pressure I would not insure with this outfit ever again.
