We are presently staying at St Ives Holiday Village Park and as we have travelled over 600 miles to get here are not really in the position to up sticks and move on. The "Gold" standard accomodation is very disappointing although adequate, the staff are friendly enough but it can be like talking to bricks in a wall when problems arrive. Today we had to contact reception as our car had been vandalised in the night along with another 15-20 cars on site. A non-commital answer as to if the Police had been called shocked us and so we reported the incident ourselves. As to insurance there isn't any as far as we can make out, we were told to make a claim on our own insurance. So not only a disappointing holiday,no apologies at all from the management we are going to end up £300 out of pocket.
