I booked a flight only deal through Thomson. From the off, I had the impression that Thomson were just trying to extract every last penny from me whilst giving me no added value. The booking itself was a minefield of hidden charges. My attempts to telephone the help centre landed me with a £10 pounds mobile phone bill, and this because the quality of customer service is so poor that each time (twice..cut off the first time) I called I had a long wait to be spoken to. In addition to this, Thomson have been sending me unsolicited texts trying to sell me extra 'services' and even competition entries (payable entry of course), this is wholly unacceptable!. However, I have no complaints with the staff I encountered at Thomson, all were helpful and friendly.
