NB INTERIORS
Good Points:
Design system is good, kitchen fitter was excellent, overall quality of materials, fitting and final finish is good. Electrician does a good job, the recommended tiler is first class.
Bad points:
Half of kitchen and appliances cost must be paid at time of order and the balance due on delivery of first day of a four day installation. Balance was paid on delivery thendiscovered that that there were no appliances and no doors, this is not ethical and does not inspire confidence. No fitters on the second day as the parts were still missing. The electrician arrived to complete his work but beware he is very expensive. Fitters turned up on third day and worked after 8.00pm (not very convenient) to finish their part of the job, they were starting another job on the next day. They requested payment for labour which was refused as appliances were not fitted and working (gas hob, oven, fridge and movement of radiator).
The electrician turned up on the fourth day fitted the fridge but could not fit the oven as the gasengineer had not appeared. He made an appearance (11.00am) he was unprepared, vanished for 2 hours to organise parts (radiator and pipework) not rocket science. Then discovered that he had purchased the wrong size pipework for the radiator and vanished again for another hour. Radiator was installed but he then discovered other parts were required for the hob. Finished the job at 6.00pm leaving the heating system in an unstable condition, failed to respond to telephone calls(no address supplied and had to contact another heating engineer. System is still not correct and is awaiting new parts.Oven had to be replaced and NB tend to pass responsibility to customer.
Overall
Kitchen quality good, electrian good but expensive, tiler excellent and a pleasure to work with, GAS/HEATING ENGINEER A TOTAL LIABILITY. NB staff are very arrogant and think they are doing the customer a favour by fitting one of their kitchens. They say they do not employ salesmen but the previous background of the owners is in kitchen sales. They are good but beware of the upfront payment, the hidden costs and above all the GAS ENGINEER.
