So far I have 17 months of appalling 'service' from BT. In a nutshell I bought a combined phone & broadband package from them in April last year. Unbeknown to me they failed to take over my phone line culminating in my old provider, Tiscali demanding money from me but not telling me what it was for. I have been harassed by phone calls from a rottweiller like BT representative, my phone line has been restricted for nearly a year. As part of the package I was promised £40 cash back, which never appeared and also a free view box, which BT denied I had ever been promised. I am now trying to find another provider but am very wary.
