Holiday was cut short by a day due an 8 hour delay at Gatwick, during which we were provided with minimal information and a pitiful £10 refreshment voucher which could barely cover one meal, let alone two. The customer service was appaling. A smoking break was permitted in the airport however the escorts were rude the times were not made clear leading to a long wait.
When the plane eventually arived minimal apologies were made to us passengers.
I am not a large person but I did find the seats very cramped.
Personally I would never fly Monarch again.
