Over the last 4 months I have bought a Thinktank backpack and a Gitzo tripod, head and bag in 4 transactions from Clifton Cameras using a either a debit card over the telephone, a credit card over the internet from home my computer and a different debit card over the internet from my work computer.
In the last three weeks all 3 cards have been hit by fraudulent transactions. None of my other cards have been affected.
Clifton Cameras is the only place where these 3 cards have been used together and I do not believe that it is a coincidence that only these card have been hit.
Obviously all 3 cards have been cancelled and the bank and the card company is investigating. In the meantime these transaction sit on my accounts.
I am not suggesting that any of Clifton Camera's staff are in any way involved but I will certainly not be using them again as I do not believe that their system is secure.
