Please do not touch Swiftcover Car Insurance!! I decided on swiftcover because it was simply the cheapest quote. Had an accident on the 5th july. The other driver was clearly weas at fault being in the inside lane turning right. Sent details of the accident and photos to swiftcover clearly describing that i wasnt at fault. They emailed me a week later to say that i was at fault although he turned right from the inside lane. The driver at fault admitted liability after i contacted their insurance company. Swiftcover never chased up the claim after i contacted them 3 times to do so. I had to do all the phone calls to their insurer myself to get it resolved. I told swiftcover that they admitted liability of which they did not know. Also phoned them twice in the last 3 weeks because my account online is still showing the accident in dispute. They informed me 10 days ago that they would adjust my account to show that it was resolved. Still showing accident in dispute. While this is the case i have temporarily lost 2 years no claims. 24th September and the situation is still not finalised Please do not touch this company its far too much stress for a saving of £30. Would not recommend them!
