Economy Car Rentals are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I agree with other reviewers that the rudeness of their office staff can be truly shocking. When we got to Antalya the local car partner , Lifecar , was not there to meet us, could not be contacted by phone and turned up over an hour late by which time we had paid for an alternative car at top price. Since then I have spent the last two months trying to get a refund of my deposit. I am just told that they are not getting any response from Lifecar and until they hear from them they can't refund my money. By their own admission they haven't been able to get a response out of Lifecar in two months and yet they have been taking deposits and brokering car hire arrangements with them ! According to an Economy Car Rentals employee that is a sarcastic commment for me to make and two months is nothing since she had to wait six months to get a query with an airline resolved. It is just a complete brick wall. Employees won't always give you their name so you don't know who you have been dealing with and there is never a manager available to speak to. Please be very wary of this company , particularly if they partner you up with Lifecar in Antalya. Yes, their rates seem very attractive but it can prove a costly mistake and a very unpleasant experience.
