To start with, in retrospect all pet owners should ALWAYS take out life-cover which I wasn't offered by E and L Pet Insurance and didn't fully understand at the time. Basically it means that your policy is renogotiated every 12 months like your car or home insurance but the injury or condition is covered for life not just 12 months. When my beagle puppy fell and broke his leg the process of submitting the claim forms was simple enough however i could never contact anyone via phone to ask questions about different aspects of the claim, often sitting on hold for 30 mins before the line went dead. My repeated e-mails were only responded to by an automated message with a non specific reply. I waited over 3 months for them to settle the claim and this was only achieved after i wrote a strong complaint letter. I would not recommend this company.
