Overall Rating
- Value for money

The HTC Touch HD is a superb smartphone, if a little outdated by HTC's ever expanding range of smartphones on the market.
It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 by default (you can upgrade to 6.5), which means if your into it, you can make your own programs/apps, without being bullied into using a single front.
What I loved:
* The massive screen, bigger than the iPhone screen, and a much higher resolution, 480x800. This means for superb website viewing using the opera browser.
* The design, I love minimalistic designs and the HD is fairly minimalistic device, with only 3 buttons. (power, vol up and vol down (2 less than the iPhone)).
What I didn't like:
* After a while the screen can get very grubby, and without a screen protector (included) the screen could fall victim to scratches, allthough it took me a good 4 months to get even one.
* The price, I personally got the phone on a contract from a well known high street mobile phone carrier here in the UK for a small price, (£85) on a £35 monthly contact for 18 months. If your buying it for a pay as you go your looking at £400+ for this phone.
Overall:
If your looking for an impressive device I would recommend this one first and foremost based on personal experience, but HTC is always releasing more devices, so its worth shopping around first.

Thanks for a very in-depth review of HTC HD. I absolutely agree that it's a great product. The only problem I have is its price. But I guess instead of buying the Iphone 3GS, HTC diamond is more worthy of my buck.
