What's there to say that hasn't already been said. My rifle is the .22 caliber version in walnut and she is a beauty to look at and shoot. I have the TX200 MKIII in beech and I prefer the carbine version due to it being lighter and better balance. She chrony's in at 700fps plus or minus 3fps. No loss over my longer barrel TX200 MKIII which is nice to see. The notice no difference in cocking effort with the shorter barrel. For reference purpose my rifle weighs 8lbs 4oz without the scope and mount. Again, once you pick up and shoot the carbine version you will never look back or think about the MK III version. It's the one I go to all the time.
