I came to Halifax after facing loads of financial problems and thought the Halifax account would be great for me to get back on track. Guess i made the worst decision in my banking history ever. Within a year i've ended up paying more than £500 on bank charges only!!!!! Guess thats great news for Halifax.... could do something with that extra money I bet. If I had to rate all the banks in the world, there's no doubt that Halifax would be right at the bottom. But have to say that they were quite generous to give me £50 cash as a gift and also offerred me a £1000 overdraft. but the charges which came flowing afterwards.....nasty nasty nasty....
