For 12 months the Sony D-NF340 was a really superb player and constant companion. The quality of sound, its features, particularly the resume function (great for audiobooks) and an excellent radio. Then in its 13th month it died suddenly despite taking great care of it. No joy from Sony. Am now using its cheaper clone - the 240.
