I am disgusted with esporta and want to know how they are still getting away with treating people this way! Me and my partner lost 3 jobs in 3 months from redundancy and i was not allowed to cancel my membership. After 4 months i still couldnt afford my membership as we had taken lower paid jobs and had debt from when we couldnt pay the bills. I wrote to them telling them i had cancelled my direct debit and would pay £10 a month untill i had paid it off. I heard nothing for 3 months then an ARC letter appeared saying i had 10 days to pay the moeny back. How?????????? The man was so rude to me on the phone and had no sympathy for my situation. I havnt used the facilities since feb last year and seems as if im still going to paying for it for months. I wasnt as the end of my 12month contract but i think loosing 3 jobs surely shows i am no in a different circumstance!
