If you want an intelligent companion in feline form then Tonkinese are for you. If want a cat who will be interested in your activities and will make friends with the whole family then Tonkinese are for you.If you want a cat that looks like a cat with an extra zing and the most glamorous coat and eye colour then get a Tonkinese. This cat will not be a ground-based ornament but will be a true companion. It has no draw-backs for the genuine cat-lover, one who wants a cat not a pretty cushion. .. here is the only 'but' - these cats need comoany of thier own kind - but who wouldn't want two Tonkinese (at least)?
