have just returned from st ives holiday village what a disgrace.after a five and half hour drive we were looking forward to a nice relaxing mid week break instead all we got was stress. every where was dirty and very out dated. when we finally got our keys for our accommodation we found it was a shed which was already occupied with the spiders and flies.the furniture was very old and worn with holes in and looked like it had a mouse living in it. the whole place was a mess there was peeling flakes of paint in the bath and all walls had damp patches on them,and the smell was terrible.needless to say we did not even unpack went and gave keys back and got a refund and returned back home the same day. all i can say is the best of luck to anybody who decides to stay at this place they call a holiday village in my mind the whole place should be knocked down and rebuilt.
