in kanye west's "love lock down", the lyrics are just repeatedly said through out the song. it gets rather tirering after a while of listening to"love lock down. your love lock down" over and over again. Its true that it does have a catchy beat, but the lyrics need more to support itself. Most of his work is writen the same as well as his sound that he uses. His music doesnt really branch out to several groups of people. Kanye west song love lock down is a song that only appeals to a certain group of people to which i am not part of. It might just be because i am more of an alternative rock type of person who is also able to stand some well writen hip hop music, but west's music is not one that sstisfy my music taste.
