My Single Friend is the first dating website that I tried, and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I found it very easy to use and a good way of finding like-minded people. I didn't feel any pressure to pay for the messaging service, and found it better to wait a week or so until some people I was interested in had added me as a favourite before I decided to pay. The only slightly frustrating part is when people that don't fit your age specifications (by quite a bit) still contact you, but that's not really the fault of the site. I would also warn that depending on your area there might not be that many new people joining each week. It's best not to limit your area range too much, and think about how far you'd be willing to travel to meet up. If you include any London area there tends to be quite a lot of new people each week. I have already recommended this site to friends, and if I hadn't met someone from the site (5 months so far) I would probably still be on there!
