Having had IC breakdown cover for over 1 year, I recently broke down with a split radiator and so made my first call.

Knowing that it could not be fixed at the roadside, as it is a pretty rare car now, I called for recovery and was greeted by a friendly member of staff and having answered a few basic questions I was told that they would arrange for recovery withing the hour. After a few minutes, a text message confirmed that the local operator would be with me within 45 minutes. This turned out to be only 30 minutes and the car was immediately loaded and we made our journey home.

So, all in all, a breakdown and recovery of 40 miles all completed in 1.5 hours. That, to me, is pretty impressive for any recovery service and given that the call centre and recovery staff were very friendly and helpful makes it even more so.
