I have received an unsolicited telephone call from safestyle this evening. They have a record of my requesting a double glazing quote from them a while ago and wanted to follow it up. I have NEVER had any double glazing quotes. I was then told I had 6 windows at the front, 4 at the back, 1 at the side and two patio doors. I was stunned it correct but for them to ascertain this I must have been out and I work from home! They are correct but 1 of the patio doors is internal and can only been seen if you look closely throught the kitchen window. The side window is on the ground floor and is only visible if you look over a 6' gate. The downstairs rear windows can be seen if you squint through the trellis that tops a 6' brick wall! In addition how did they get my phone number - we do not appear in the directory although we are not ex-directory!

Very disconcerting and if elderly or living alone I would be realyy concerned. I call to trading standards is coming on I think!!
