We hired car from Avis in Italy via Auto Europe. The day after we returned the car in what we believe to be the same condition as we received it, we had an amount of 248 Euros taken from our credit card for 'Accident Repairs' 7 weeks later, and having called both Avis and Auto Europe many, many times (and each time having to wait in a queue for ages) we still have no explanation from them, only to be told that they are 'investigating'.

Unbelievably poor service - within 24 hours they had decided how much to take from us, and in 7 weeks they can't give us even the slightest indication of what this relates to.
