I had an unsatisfactory experience with a breaker I found through Breakeryard.com.
A few days later Breakeryard.com asked me to leave feedback on the breaker, so I did - negative but truthful, saying what happened. Afterwards I got a nasty phone call from the breaker in question. I wanted to see what other feedback had been left about him, but couldn't find it anywhere on the site (and there's no search button either) so emailed Breakeryard asking where the feedback was shown. I got an automated response with a list of FAQs or else to phone a mobile/premium rate number to speak to someone.
However, reading through Breakeryard's FAQs, basically if you're having problems, they deny all responsibility and offer no help whatsoever to the customer. In this respect eBay is streets ahead, as they not only offer a very clear ratings and feedback system of all sellers, but they will also help in disputes.
