i have the pace Sky HD 9f004 model and its great . with the new epg which is better to use .first off dont ever get a thomson there bad and waste off money there fail.. since the new epg giuld you cant turn your sound volume bar up no more its gone .so if you have the older software on your hd box do it now turn it up before it gets upgraded as now you have to turn the tv up a bit . also doing these tricks will help you fix your sky hd box when ever you get a probelm with signals or fail recording ect .

(software download for buggy boxes)

turn mains off to box . and hold down the backup button on the box .turn power on to box . and wait for all lighs to come on .if all lights come on let go off backup.
and wait for the box to reboot you know when all lights go out wait 5 more mins then turn on.

(full system planner rebuild) ( for slow epg missing listings ect. you will not lose any recordings)

press services on remote then go to settings then press 0.0.1 select on remote
for new epg then planner rebuild ..
for old epg press services then 4.0.1 select on remote then planner rebuild
(you will not lose any recordings or listings)
