We stayed two nights at Aphrodite's Lodge to celebrate our wedding aniversary and paid £150 per night in the Cleopatra room. The room and the hall leading to the room smelt musty. The carpets looked old and the safa looked as though it had old stains on it!! The room was big with a lovely large spa bath and the bed was very comfortable. The outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool is located at another hotel with some facility closed. The staff werent that helpful or informative about swimming arrangements.
The breakfast wasnt great and cost £4 extra each to have it delivered to the room and an extra £5 for the full cooked (again, not great).
Basically it was far too overpriced for what is, on close inspection, quite a shabby room in parts. You can get far better for a lot less money. I also didnt see that the hotel had an official ratings/stars. Wonder why?.....
