I've bought some cheap tickets from some rubbish airlines in my time, however this flight (purchased as part of a package holiday)was the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced.
Leg room was not a problem, however width of the seat was appalling. I'm probably average size and by no means obese, however it got me wondering - at what point do the check in staff suggest you buy 2 seats? And has anyone ever got as far as the aircraft only to find that they aren't going to fit in the seat they have purchsed. I was bruised and extremely p*ssed off after about 10 minutes and the passengers around me we vocalising the same thoughts.
I will NEVER fly Monarch again and I have told all my friends not to bother. I'm sure the airline don't give a toss, however I'm going to review this airline in as many places as I can to get the message out there. I wanted to rate 0 out of 5 but you can't - hence the 1 star. Absolute pants.
