I ordered a washer on the 10 sept and John Lewis publicity infers that it will normally be delivered within 7 days. After 5 days I got a call saying that the delivery would be on the 26 Sept which is some 16 days, I rang to argue against this but nothing could be done leaving no option but to cancel. The person calling had called the day before but they leave no number so you can't call them back.
I class this as false advertising and they should come up with a definate period for delivery.
