Applied for tesco insurance in july.had problems with website initially and then had to make 3 calls to tesco to get my car insurance as their system was refusing my debit card and they were telling me that my bank was at fault as my bank had declined their request for deposit. found out from my bank it was fault in tesco's computer system.I should have heard that alarm bell ringing then.
Eventually, i got insurance over the phone. 10 weeks later i have not received my pressure washer and have received 3 letters claiming they have not received my no claims bonus. Although I had sent evidence on three occasions!!!

Ditto - couldn't post my review until i gave tesco customer services,value for money and overall rating of at least one star. What a cheek!!!

Tesco really take the *** of its customers.
Icing on the cake arrived this morning in the form of a new motor policy and a charge of £138 for not providing any proof of no claims discount. i rang this morning and still waiting for someone to return my call to find out what the hell tesco car insurance are playing at.i asked why 3 letters of proof of no claims bonus was not enough!!!

I will soldier on ringing and writing to tesco and will take it to ombudsman and trading standards if it not resolved soon, as i refuse to be ripped off. I am disgusted with their poor customer service and am seriously considering doing all my future shopping at sainsburys or asda.

Beware, do not fall for free gifts and vouchers as you may never see them. even providing your tesco club card number as tesco web site claims that you can claim points on your car insurance has not been productive for myself either. i feel it about time tesco stopped ripping off its loyal customers.

Tesco - every little helps.

MMM- they may need to try new slogan cos tesco car insurance definately not helpful nor cheaper by the time they try adding on trumped up charges.
